FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q: What is telepsychiatry?
A: Telepsychiatry is mental health care delivered through secure video visits. Instead of going into a clinic, you meet with your provider online using a computer or smartphone. The care you receive is the same quality as in-person, but more convenient and accessible.

Q: Who do you treat?
A: We provide care for adults, adolescents, and children experiencing depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and other common mental health conditions.

Q: Do you take insurance?
A: Yes. We accept Medicaid, Medicare, and most major insurance plans. We also offer an income-based sliding fee scale so no one is turned away due to inability to pay.

Q: What if I don’t have insurance?
A: You can still receive care. Our sliding fee scale ensures affordable pricing, and in some cases patients under certain income levels may pay nothing at all.

Q: How do I book an appointment?
A: Simply click the Book Appointment button on our site to schedule online, or call us at 405-746-6401 during business hours.

Q: Are the video sessions private?
A: Absolutely. We use HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms with end-to-end encryption. Your privacy and personal health information are fully protected.

Q: Do you prescribe medication?
A: Yes. Our psychiatric nurse practitioner can prescribe and manage medications including antidepressants, ADHD medications, and mood stabilizers. Prescriptions are sent electronically to your preferred pharmacy.

Q: What technology do I need?
A: You only need a smartphone, tablet, or computer with internet access. For patients without reliable internet, some sessions may be completed by phone if state regulations allow.

Q: What should I expect in my first appointment?
A: Your first visit will be a 60–90 minute evaluation where we review your history, symptoms, and goals. Together we’ll create a personalized treatment plan that may include therapy, medication, or both..
